POSITION SUMMARY
The Recruiting Manager leads and owns the full recruiting function, setting the vision, strategy, and operating rhythm for enterprise-wide talent acquisition. This role is accountable for hiring outcomes across high-volume and specialized roles, ensuring we consistently attract, assess, and hire top-tier talent aligned to a 5-star hospitality standard. The Recruiting Manager builds a high-performing team, drives stakeholder alignment, optimizes recruiting systems and processes, and elevates the caliber of talent entering the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Function Ownership & Strategy
· Own the end-to-end recruiting strategy and execution across all departments and role types (hourly, exempt, leadership).
· Translate business workforce needs into recruiting plans, sourcing strategies, and hiring priorities.
· Establish service-level expectations (SLAs) and standardized recruiting processes that drive quality and speed.
· Lead quarterly/ongoing workforce planning discussions with HR and operational leaders.
Team Leadership & Talent Development
· Lead, coach, and develop the recruiting team; set clear performance expectations and ensure consistent delivery.
· Build team capability through training, interview calibration, sourcing skill development, and process discipline.
· Create a culture of accountability, urgency, and strong candidate experience aligned to hospitality excellence.
· Manage team capacity planning, requisition allocation, and performance management.
Stakeholder Partnership & Hiring Excellence
· Serve as the primary advisor to senior leaders and hiring managers on selection strategy, market availability, and hiring decisions.
· Drive disciplined intake meetings, structured interview practices, and selection calibration to improve quality of hire.
· Escalate and resolve complex hiring challenges, including hard-to-fill roles and high-impact leadership hires.
Systems, Reporting, & Continuous Improvement
· Own recruiting systems and tools (ATS, job boards, scheduling, reporting) and ensure adoption and data integrity.
· Analyze funnel metrics and deliver insights (time-to-fill, source performance, conversion, candidate drop-off, quality indicators).
· Lead process improvement and special initiatives to enhance recruiting outcomes and candidate experience.
· Ensure compliance with internal policy, documentation standards, and applicable employment laws.
Employer Brand & Pipeline Development
· Strengthen employer brand strategy and execution across postings, outreach, events, and candidate communications.
· Build evergreen pipelines for critical roles through proactive sourcing and community/industry partnerships.
· Identify and implement tactics to consistently raise the caliber of candidates presented and hired.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum 7 years of recruiting experience, including 5-star hospitality and high-volume recruiting environments.
- Minimum 2 years of people leadership (direct or functional leadership of recruiters) preferred/strongly desired.
- Demonstrated success improving recruiting outcomes (quality, speed, stakeholder satisfaction, candidate experience).
- Strong working knowledge of ATS/recruiting technology and data-driven recruiting operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading recruiting within complex, multi-site, or high-visibility operations.
- Experience building structured selection practices and coaching leaders on interviewing and hiring decisions.

COMPUTER/TECHNICAL SKILLS
Intermediate skills in the use of personal computers, Microsoft Office Suite Software, HRIS, email and enterprise specific programs.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information one-on-one to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

The work environment is consistent with an Indian Gaming Casino in which the noise level can be loud to very loud. Employees must be able to work in a smoking environment and must agree to maintain a Drug/Free workplace as a condition of employment with the Gila River Casino. All Gaming Facility employees must be certified/licensed, which is required for purposes of continued employment. The certification process includes a full background check.
