Job Description
Salary: Depending on Experience (DOE)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Develop and implement employee relations policies and procedures in alignment with organizational goals and legal requirements.
- Investigate and resolve employee complaints, including claims of harassment, discrimination, and other workplace conflicts.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on employee relations issues, including coaching and performance management.
- Conduct training sessions on topics such as conflict resolution, workplace behavior, and company policies to promote a positive and respectful work environment.
- Collaborate with HR and legal departments to ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO).
- Facilitate employee engagement programs and contribute to initiatives aimed at improving workplace culture and employee satisfaction.
- Serve as a liaison between employees and management, fostering open communication and ensuring that employee voices are heard.
- Track and analyze employee relations data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Lead internal investigations and manage disciplinary processes, ensuring fairness and consistency.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with professionalism and integrity.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises multiple employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7 years of experience in employee relations, human resources, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
- Professional HR certification such as PHR (Professional in Human Resources), SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources), or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and employment regulations at both the state and federal levels.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to handle conflict resolution and manage complex employee relations cases with discretion and fairness.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
- High level of emotional intelligence, empathy, and resilience.
- Experience in the hospitality or gaming industry is a plus.
