ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Ensures exceptional guest service experiences for both internal and external guests.
  • Collaborates with the Corporate VP of HR to execute strategic and operational HR plans aligned with Enterprise goals.
  • Advises leadership and management on HR matters, encompassing recruiting, employee relations, compliance, training, performance management, leadership development, compensation administration, policies and procedures, conflict resolution, and terminations.
  • Guides leadership teams in understanding Recruitment, Organizational Development, HR, Compensation, Benefits, and other workforce strategies and programs.
  • Supervises, supports, and mentors Human Resources team.
  • Partner with Enterprise leadership to develop strategies and programs that address business needs and enhance cultural alignment.
  • Lead Human Resources team members by defining expectations, providing training, and managing performance.
  • Design and implement a competitive total rewards program coveting compensation, benefits, performance appraisal, employee incentives, and wellness initiatives.
  • Direct the development and maintenance of competitive compensation programs, utilizing market data and conducting wage studies.
  • Keeps abreast of recent US labor law changes, monitors labor updates, and ensures Human Resources compliance.
  • Stays info1med about trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Communicates and enforces Enterp1ise's policies related to employee issues.
  • Prepares analytical and statistical repo1is for management.
  • Maintain fiscal responsibility of protection of Company revenue through any cost related expenses such as benefits, turnover and litigation.
  • Maintain departmental HR budget according to policies to include ongoing expense review, approval and tracking and preparation of data for monthly P&L's.
  • Maintains a dependable work attendance record with extremely infrequent absences and/or lateness.
  • Performs other special projects and duties as assigned. 

Supervisory Responsibilities 

Directly supervises multiple team members. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hi1ing, and training team members; pla1ming, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining team members; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience 

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Public Administration or related field, or equivalent training and experience preferred.
  3. Human Resources dedicated ce1tification required (SCP, PHR, THRP)
  4. 10 years of progressive HR expe1ience required; 5 years hospitality or gaming industry preferred.
  5. Working knowledge of human resources practices, laws and regulations required.
  6. Working knowledge of all key areas of HR including recruitment, compensation and benefits, employee relations, information systems, retention, rewards, and learning and development.
  7. Proven supervision, leadership & coaching skills.
  8. Must have extensive knowledge in benefit and compensation management. Experience with self-funded insurance plans strongly preferred.
  9. Must be computer literate and have knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or other computer and HR Software.
  10. Ability to evaluate courses of action and reach sound, non-judgmental management decisions and resolutions.
  11. Demonstrated understanding of organizational development.
  12. Must possess strong organizational and time management skills.

    8. This position must have in-depth knowledge and thorough understanding of Enterprise Policies and Procedures, governmental regulations, and technical rules relevant to their responsibilities.
    9. Important Notes

      As a condition of employment, all new hires must pass the following:
